I studied at the University of Manchester in the 1980's and went on to work in finance and investments for many years.

After quite a prolonged illness I took up painting again and realised I should have done this all along. I live in the Dark Peak area of the Peak District and am inspired in all my painting by the wonderful landscapes around me.

I work mainly in acrylics and oils, occasionally in watercolour and am developing some new works using polymers.
